Robyn Freedman is a devoted volunteer, giving back to the Santa Barbara community for more than 25 years.
Early on, Robin worked in an advertising firm in New York City before moving to Los Angeles, where she met and married her husband Len. Yearning for a sense of community, Robyn and Len moved to Santa Barbara once their two young boys were old enough to attend public school.
An engaged mother always willing to lend a hand at her boys’ schools, Robyn decided to extend her passion for education by supporting Santa Barbara City College and the SBCC Foundation. What began as volunteer fundraising has now turned into a larger role – she is currently a member of the SBCC Foundation Board of Directors, serving in this capacity since 2013.
Robyn studied at Le Rosey, a Swiss boarding school, before obtaining a bachelor’s degree from Sophia University, a Jesuit international university in Japan. She enjoys staying connected to her family and friends, and this great community she is proud to call home.
