Kevin Muto was born in San Jose, California, and raised in Lima, Peru. He is proud to have attended Santa Barbara City College, where he completed his GE requirements and the prerequisites for his majors. He later graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a B.A. in communication and in sociology.
He is a dedicated professional with a passion for community development and a proven track record in fundraising and charitable initiatives. In his previous role as a development executive at United Way of Santa Barbara County, Kevin successfully developed and led charitable giving campaigns in local workplaces and managed accounts, raising significant funds that enable the organization’s programs to remain free for their community.
Kevin gained his passion for nonprofit work and education through his extensive volunteering experience in Peru. In his free time, Kevin enjoys jogging, going to the gym, watching movies and playing video games.
