Luis Naranjo is a first-generation immigrant from Mexico raised in Santa Barbara, CA. He attended Santa Barbara City College before transferring to UC Santa Barbara and receiving his B.A. in Chican@ Studies, Latin American & Iberian Studies with a minor in Education.
Prior to joining the SBCC Foundation, Luis worked at UC Santa Barbara as a Financial Aid Assistant Director, where he supervised a team of financial aid advisors with diverse aid program responsibilities. Additionally, Luis has worked with high-need populations including undocumented students, Pell and Cal Grant recipients.
Luis enjoys jogging, traveling and spending time with his wife and three kids.
