Gandhy Jimenez serves as the SBCC Promise Intern. Gandhy was born in Guerrero, Mexico and raised in Santa Barbara. She is a student at Santa Barbara City College, and is pursuing her academic goals.
Prior to working at the SBCC Foundation, Gandhy received her Medical Assistant Certification in 2009 and worked as a medical assistant at several nonprofit clinics in Santa Barbara. Gandhy loves to spend her time with her three daughters. Whether she’s rushing from school to boxing training or just relaxing with her daughters at home, Gandhy enjoys her work and life and looks forward to the future. She plans on transferring after graduating from SBCC, and then continuing to work in the nonprofit world.
